This class is required now by Colorado law if you wish to purchase a Specified Semi-auto Firearm (SSF) as determined by the Colorado DOR. This class is the shortened version - 4 hours - that is available if you have a verified hunter's safety card. Unfortunately this class does not satisfy the requirements for renewing your CHP but it's scheduled just prior to the CHP renewal class so you can knock both out (if needed) in one day. There is a written test you must pass with a 90% score. There is no live fire.
